    SparkList helps managers verify cleanings, inspections, and property tasks remotely using visual checklists, photo proof, timestamps, and location tracking.

  • Is SparkList only for cleaning?

    No. SparkList can be used for cleaning, inspections, maintenance checks, restocking, and any recurring property task that needs clear proof of completion.

  • How do I create a checklist?

    You can create a checklist from the checklist editor. Add rooms, tasks, photo requirements, custom questions, and instructions for each step.

  • Can I customize checklists for each property?

    Yes. Each property can have its own checklist with specific rooms, tasks, photos, and requirements.

  • Can I create multiple checklists per property?

    Yes. You can create as many checklists as you need for each property.

  • How do I share a checklist with my cleaners?

    You can share a temporary checklist link for a specific job, or invite cleaners to join your team in SparkList.

  • Do cleaners need an account?

    It depends on how you share the checklist. Cleaners can use a temporary link for a specific job, or join your team if you want to manage them more regularly.

Cleaner workflow

  • Do cleaners need to download the app?

    Yes. Cleaners use the SparkList app so they can follow the checklist, upload photos, and use location tracking when required.

  • How do cleaners access the workflow?

    The manager sends a checklist link. The cleaner opens it on their phone and follows the step-by-step workflow in the SparkList app.

  • Where do cleaners see the instructions?

    Instructions are shown directly inside the workflow. Each step can include tasks, reference photos, notes, and specific points to check.

  • Are photos required for every room?

    It depends on the checklist settings. Some steps may require a photo, while others may be optional. SparkList clearly shows what is required.

  • How does a cleaner complete a task?

    The cleaner follows the instructions, completes the task, and validates the step. If a photo is required, SparkList will ask for it before the step can be completed.

  • Can cleaners report a problem?

    Yes. Cleaners can report a problem by adding a photo and description. The manager is notified so they can review the issue quickly.

  • What if a cleaner does not have internet access?

    SparkList requires a smartphone and internet access to start and complete jobs properly, especially when location tracking is required.

Property management

  • Can I manage multiple properties from one account?

    Yes. You can manage multiple properties from one dashboard and monitor activity across your portfolio.

  • How many properties can I manage?

    SparkList supports unlimited properties. For larger portfolios, we can also offer dedicated support.

  • Does SparkList work for larger teams?

    Yes. SparkList works for individual cleaners, small teams, and larger cleaning teams. Cleaners do not pay to use the app.

  • How does SparkList improve cleaning consistency?

    SparkList uses visual checklists so every cleaner knows exactly what to do, where to do it, and what proof is required. This helps keep standards consistent across all properties.

  • How does SparkList save time?

    SparkList reduces back-and-forth messages by giving cleaners clear visual instructions and giving managers structured proof once the job is completed.

Pricing & billing

  • What are the pricing plans and how does billing work?

    SparkList uses simple pay-as-you-go pricing based on your average number of active properties each month. Your first property is free, paused properties are not billed, and you can pause, reactivate, or add properties anytime.

  • Is there a free trial?

    There is no separate free trial. Your first active property is free every month and includes all features.

  • What is an active property?

    An active property is a property that can be used for checklists, tasks, and team activity during the month.

  • What is a paused property?

    A paused property is kept in your account, but it cannot be used by your team while paused. Paused properties are not billed, and your data stays saved.

  • Does the price change if I manage more properties?

    Yes. The price per property decreases as your number of active properties grows.

  • Are there hidden costs?

    No. SparkList has transparent property-based pricing. Optional AI credits may be available, but they are not required to use the core app.

  • Do cleaning staff have to pay?

    No. Cleaners and service providers do not pay to use SparkList. Billing is handled through the manager account.

  • What payment methods are accepted?

    We accept major credit cards through Stripe. Where applicable, payments may also be processed through Apple or Google.

  • I manage more than 70 properties. Can I use SparkList?

    Yes, of course. We offer custom billing beyond 70 properties. Please contact us at andrea@sparklist.io.

Security & privacy

  • Is SparkList GDPR compliant?

    Yes. SparkList is designed to comply with GDPR requirements for data protection and privacy.

  • Where is my data stored?

    Your data is stored on European servers.

  • Are my photos secure?

    Yes. Photos are stored securely and are only accessible to authorized users in your SparkList account.

  • Are SparkList photos useful for damage claims?

    SparkList photos include timestamps and location data, which can help support damage claims with platforms, owners, or insurers. Final acceptance depends on the platform or insurance provider.
